Studio K – small design studio from Poland
Another great design from Poland- I think I will never get bored with it. Studio K is a small design agency created by a couple: Krzysztof Domaradzki and Eliza Domaradzka. Out of those two Krzysztof is the one responsible for the artistic part.
His style is unique and really it is hard to describe it with just a couple of words. The illustrations are so detailed, many of them were first drawn (by hand?) and then digitally coloured, tuned up and finished. The final effect is perfect, check yourself two examples of illustrations below.

Krzysztof Domaradzki presents very big talents as a web designer. I like especially the websites in black and white- three of them are presented below. If you click on any of them you will be redirected to the studiokxx’s site with bigger images.
As a dessert please taste some of the logotypes created by Studio K. Delicious, isn’t it?

Indeepop.com – magical world made in Russia
Indeepop is a “psychodelic world of fantasy, happiness and tears, good and evil, the world of sweetness and bitterness, mysteries and secrets, the world of bipolarity, absolutely unlike ordinary”. The site is developed by the Russian team of designers who make works about the creatures living in Indeepop world. Their interests relate to various areas of art: illustration, sketches, streetart, skateboards etc. All of those media are explored by the designers who give the viewers the insight into the “indeepop” world filled with funny creatures, colours and lots of fun.
The concept of creating the new imaginary world and then trying to earn money on the merchandise related to it is quite old already. The project seems to expand and develop quite well but I think it needs some more integrity within the works to become more convincing for the audience. Project called Friends With You is (in my opinion) very successful in being a cohesive and attractive fantasy world. It might be useful for the Indeepop team to see how they have done and maybe rethink and consolidate the strategy.
Still, I don’t want to say that I don’t like the works which are presented on Indeepop website. I wouldn’t talk about this project if I didn’t like it: it’s obvious, right? I like especially the illustrations (looks like I talk about illustration a lot recently) but also the skateboards are worth checking.
Irena Zablotska (Joulu)- illustration, graffiti and desig
I am loving the illustrations made by Irena Zablotska (Joulu). She is the Ukrainian designer with portfolio full of very nice works- it was quite difficult for me to select the images which would accompany this post. Most of the illustrations created by Zablotska are depicting some monstrously looking creatures. They are not really terrifying and actually it is quite pleasant to look at them. The pictures look to be quite simple at a first glance, but after having a closer look they reveal their complexity and amount of work which is needed to create them. Congratulations Irena- your works are brilliant!
Apart from illustration and web design Zablotska has also made some works in the area of graffiti and streetart.
